You're almost certainly right. Like Obama, he's almost certainly a parachuted bankers's candidate. However, that demand for baptism at 12 is surprising. None of us know the course of events we are about to face, nor how Macron will respond to them. He is not ignorant of Catholicism. Perhaps he may revert, with the help of God.

I suspect that Dr. Hammond's stats are more correct than not. Saudi Arabia and other Oil States have poured $$$ Billions into Mosques, Islamic Study Centers, "Prison "Ministry" and political "Walking Around Money"! Erdogan is just following their lead and, no doubt, is being politically funded by same "Usual Suspects":

Interesting, Portugal wins the Eurovision song contest on the 100 anniversary of the Fatima apparition.

I didn't watch it myself but must be a sign, or gift maybe.

I couldn't bring myself to watch the Eurovision but the Portuguese win on the feast of Fatima piqued my interest so I just took a look at the winning song on YouTube. There's a video which shows the lyrics with an English translation and the words are really lovely...

I won't put the link here for security reasons but the title of the YouTube video is Salvador Sobral-Amar Pelos Dois-(lyrics+ english translation).

I didn't provide a link due to Cyber-Assaults but it's long past time for the Vatican and Dioceses to call-out and sue so called "Catholic" universities/colleges and even High Schools for cowardice and downright godless anti-Christian views and policies.... and have Catholic removed from their names and literature!
"Fordham University, a Roman Catholic private college in New York, has rejected a proposal to bring a Chick-fil-A restaurant to the campus after an LGBTQ group and other student groups expressed their concerns about the views on gay marriage held by the restaurant chain’s owners." ... from The Blaze Website. HullyGee! I wonder what Cardinal, I love Gays and Democrats, Dolan thinks about this? ... Eh!!??
I checked The Cardinal Newman Society website and Fordham is NOT on their list of authentic Catholic schools .... as I suspected!

Did the blood of St. Janarius liquify last week in Naples?

Is Italy's SUPERVOLCANO about to blow? Experts warn that Campi Flegrei is at a 'critical stage' in the build up to a devastating eruption
    • Campi Flegrei is a supervolcano located outside the western suburbs of Naples
    • Its last devastating eruption was in 1538, following a century of unrest
    • The volcano has been restless again since 1950, with regular earthquakes
    • There is now a build up in energy in the crust similar to the 1538 eruption
    • If it does erupt, experts believe it would affect 360,000 people living across the caldera and Naples' population of nearly one million

While the Campi Flegrei volcano hasn't erupted since 1538, experts have warned that it could be building up to another devastating eruption.

By studying patterns of unrest over the last 500 years, the researchers have predicted that we are reaching a 'critical stage' where further unrest will lead to an eruption.

They hope their findings will urge local authorities to prepare for an eruption, which they say would affect the 360,000 people living across the caldera and Naples' population of nearly one million.

While the Campi Flegrei volcano hasn't erupted since 1538, experts have warned that it could be building up to another devastating eruption

    THE 'CRITICAL STAGE'
Unrest since the 1950s has been causing a build-up of energy in the crust and making the volcano more vulnerable to eruption.

Until now, scientists had thought that the energy needed to stretch the crust was lost after each period of unrest.

The episodes of unrest are caused by the movement of magma around three kilometres below the volcano.

An eruption becomes more likely when the ground has been stretched to its breaking point.

This is because the molten rock can escape to the surface when the ground splits apart.

But it is difficult to pinpoint when an eruption will occur, because even if the ground breaks, it is possible for the magma to stall before reaching the surface.

If the volcano was to erupt, it could cause havoc for those trying to fly in the area.

Dr Christopher Kilburn, who led the study, told MailOnline: 'An eruption might disrupt air traffic, if only for precautionary measures and the immediate effect would be in Campi Flegrei and Naples.'

Experts from UCL and the Vesuvius Observatory in Naples have been studying the patterns of unrest since Campi Flegrei's last eruption 500 years ago.

The volcano has been restless for 67 years, with two-year periods of unrest in the 1950s, 1970s and 1980s causing small, local earthquakes and ground uplift.

Similar unrest occurred over 500 years ago, when it took a century to build up to an eruption in 1538.

Using a new model, the researchers investigated whether Campi Flegrei may again be preparing to erupt.

They found that the unrest since the 1950s has been causing a build-up of energy in the crust and making the volcano more vulnerable to eruption.

Until now, scientists had thought that the energy needed to stretch the crust was lost after each period of unrest.

Dr Kilburn said: 'By studying how the ground is cracking and moving at Campi Flegrei, we think it may be approaching a critical stage where further unrest will increase the possibility of an eruption, and it's imperative that the authorities are prepared for this.

'We don't know when or if this long-term unrest will lead to an eruption, but Campi Flegrei is following a trend we've seen when testing our model on other volcanoes, including Rabaul in Papua New Guinea, El Hierro in the Canary Islands, and Soufriere Hills on Montserrat in the Caribbean.

'We are getting closer to forecasting eruptions at volcanoes that have been quiet for generations by using detailed physical models to understand how the preceding unrest develops.'

    CAMPI FLEGREI
The Campi Flegrei crater was formed 39,000 years ago in a blast that threw hundreds of cubic kilometres of lava, rock and debris into the air.

It was the largest eruption in Europe in the past 200,000 years, according to scientists.

Campi Flegrei last erupted in 1538, though on a much smaller scale.

Nearby Mount Vesuvius, whose massive eruption just over 2,000 years ago buried several Roman settlements in the area, including Pompeii, is also classified as an active volcano.

Although it hasn't erupted, unrest at the volcano has alredy caused severe social disturbanced in Campi Flegrei.

Campi Flegrei covers more than 100 square kilometres (38.6 square miles) outside the western suburbs of Naples

Together, the three episodes of uplift have pushed the port of Pozzuoli more than three metres out of the sea.

Dr Stefano Calino, who also worked on the study, said: 'The unrest in 1970 and 1983 caused tens of thousands of people to be evacuated from Pozzuoli itself.'

An eruption of the Camp Flegrei supervolcano would dwarf the devastation caused by Mount Vesuvius on the otherside of Naples (illustrated)

The researchers predict that an eruption today would affect the 360,000 people living across the caldera and Naples' population of nearly one million.

Professor Giuseppe De Natale, who also worked on the study, said: 'Most damage in previous crises was caused by the seismic shaking of buildings.

'Our findings show that we must be ready for a greater amount of local seismicity during another uplift and that we must adapt our preparations for another emergency, whether or not it leads to an eruption.'

    HISTORY OF CAMPI FLEGREI
The Phlegraean Fields, or Campi Flegrei, volcano system has had a colourful history.

The Romans thought an area called Solfatara - where gas is emitted from the ground - was the home of Vulcan, the god of fire.

Meanwhile, one of the craters in the system, Lake Avernus, was referred to as the entrance to Hades in ancient mythology.

Additionally, Campi Flegrei has long been a site of geological interest.

In Charles Lyell's 1830 Principles of Geology, he identified the burrows of marine fossils at the top of the Macellum of Pozzuoli, an ancient Roman market building, concluding that the ground around Naples rises and falls over geological time.

Two eruptions have occurred at the site, one in 1158 at Solfatara and the other in 1538 that formed the Monte Nuovo cinder cone.

But more recently the ground around Naples has shown signs that the supervolcano may be preparing to erupt again.

In 1969-72 and 1982-84 the Earth's crust in the area around Pozzuoli rose by 11 feet in just a few months.

This phenomenon is called bradisism - a slow movement of the earth's surface, as opposed to fast movement due to an earthquake.

Turkey Violates Greece’s Airspace 141 Times In One Day
    May 16, 2017
    By Sarantis Michalopoulos

(EurActiv) — Turkish aeroplanes and helicopters illegally entered Greece’s airspace 141 times on Monday, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff reported.

According to Greek press reports, 20 Turkish F-16, 5 CN-235 maritime surveillance aircraft and 19 helicopters entered the Athens flight information region (FIR) without submitting a flight plan.

In all cases, Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted by Greek fighters, while in nine cases the interception process resulted in near combat situations.

In addition, two Turkish missile boats entered Greek territorial waters off the southeast Aegean island of Agathonisi.

The vessels, which were taking part in a maritime exercise code-named Denizkurdu (Seawolf), stayed in Greek territorial waters for about 20 minutes. As Kathimerini journal reported, last month Agathonisi was described as a “Turkish island” by Turkey’s Minister of European Union Affairs Omer Celik.

While the EU and the international community recognise the sovereignty of Greece over the Greek Aegean islands, Turkey has a list of issues regarding the delimitation of territorial waters, national airspace, exclusive zones, etc. Ankara also claims “grey zones” of undetermined sovereignty over a number of small islets, most notably the islets of Imia/Kardak.

The serious incidents occurred just a few hours after the meeting of Greek premier Alexis Tsipras with Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan in Beijing.

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a strong communique saying that the incident “constitutes a flagrant violation of international law”.

“It is clear that there are forces in Turkey that do not want understanding and good neighbourly relations between the two countries,” the Greek ministry added.

In the meantime, tensions between Ankara and Berlin also escalated.

The German government is exploring the possibility of moving its troops out of Turkey’s Incirlik air base, which is crucial for the fight against ISIS, after a second German parliamentary delegation was prevented from visiting the Incirlik facility.

German news agency dpa quoted Wolfgang Hellmich, the chairman of the Bundestag Defense Committee, as saying “we’re not going to be blackmailed” by the Ankara government.

    Commission warns Ankara
Contacted by EURACTIV.com, an EU spokesperson sent a strict message to Turkey, urging that it respect the sovereignty of the EU’s member states.

“The EU underlines that Turkey needs to commit itself unequivocally to good neighbourly relations and urges Turkey to avoid any kind of source of friction, threat or action directed against a member state, which damages good neighbourly relations and the peaceful settlement of disputes,” the spokesperson said.

The same official added that negative statements that damage good neighbourly relations should also be avoided.

“Moreover, the EU also stresses the need to respect the sovereignty of member states over their territorial sea and airspace,” the spokesperson told EURACTIV.

“At the Informal Meeting of Foreign Ministers (Gymnich) of last 28 April, the EU High-Representative and Vice-President Federica Mogherini recalled that good neighbourly relations are one of the core principles which Turkey is called upon to respect as a candidate country,” the EU official concluded.

My comments: http://cosmicconvergence.org/?p=12676 Elder Paisios stated the Third World War will start with the conflict between Turkey and Greece.
