I am certain the linked Video talk is 10 or 15 years old. I did buy the book he is talking about, and it was not my cup of tea. Those who are keen on the Nibiru, planet X and things like that would love it. Courtney Bartholomew would be referring to Gianna Sullivan. I heard him in another talk some years ago, and he was very positive about her. I used to watch the monthly videos with Gianna prayer group, but it was taken off air once the Church asked them to stop. I would love to hear if any of her talks are on U Tube. There are a couple of old ones after the above Video finishes. But silence for years now, as far as I know. I believe Courtney Bartholomew married an Irish woman and lived and reared his children in Ireland. I don't know if he moved away in recent years though. But he is an amazing speaker.

He goes on to say: "We find it humorous that one of the web site dedicated to her they go as so far as to claim Mary is in fact the matchmaker who suggest Gianna consider marriage to her current spouse! "While in Scottsdale, he [Michael Sullivan] was invited to be present for a private apparition, occurring to Gianna Talone. During that apparition, our Lady pointed Dr. Sullivan out to Gianna, from among the group present, and invited Gianna to consider entering into marriage with him someday. Gianna reflected on our Lady's suggestion, choosing to be open to the possibility."
Does anyone know if Gianna had an annulment for her previous marriage. Or was she married in a civil type marriage at a younger age when maybe not practising her faith, and later had a conversion or reversion. I have not heard any of these details from her past.

I have been to Scottsdale AZ when Giana was living there. I had doubts about here at first, but Our Lord certainly confirmed to me that she is a true prophet. I do not doubt her. Also, she has not been married three times - only twice and from what I have heard, there were circumstances regard her first marriage failure.
She seems to be quite faithful to the Will of God enduring much persecution. With what I experienced in Scottsdale, I have no doubt about her, but have no opinion about the other so called seers that were in Scottsdale at the time, and even Father Jack. I feel badly for Giana as she is so persecuted against - even by people who went to her Parish where she presently lives. According to some of them, they claim she just doesn't have the personality of a holy seer (whatever that means) You may want to read some of her messages and discern for yourself.
I have read a lot of her messages and loads about her, but that was some time ago. I think I may have kind of dropped her when there were some reports of trouble with the local Bishop in her area. I forget the details. There are so many visionaries, I am not knocking her, it's just when I heard of the trouble with the Bishop I decided to go onto other things at the time.
Lynfiat and Daria, thank you so much for your posts. I am probably in the same place as Padraig as far as Gianna is concerned. I used to read the messages, and watch the monthly prayer group video, and I used to love them. The funny thing is, the hymn that was chosen on Sunday evening here in our parish was the one they used to sing at the prayer group on line. It was lovely. As far as I remember, it was when the message about the two suns came out that the Bishop put a stop to Gianna. Only God knows why, and it is astounding that we are now hearing of some star or other on its way into our bit of the universe, and it appears to be like another sun. I do remember reading some sad, bad news about Father Jack in Scotsdale; and it is a shame Gianna could be tarred with the same brush. I am not in the face book thingie, so will not be able to find video links there. I wonder if some one will be able to post a link here in the Forum. If the Bishop has said Gianna is a fake, is it a sin for us to read her stuff. I never came across anything against the Church or my own beliefs and traditions in what used to be available on Gianna site. And I thought we were allowed to read and discern these things.
Gianna's latest short talk: Other talks can be found there ,too. To me Gianna is just a very sincere child of God. Childlike, maybe, but at the same time a wise and experienced Christian. And because I'm an outsider, an Orthodox Christian, I can just listen to my heart in these matters. Mother of God has guided me in this Internet world, and she showed Gianna to me. That's enough proof for me. I looked articles about her and of our Lady of Emmitsburg, and found much controversy. But when I read that "cult of Emmitsburg" -stuff I sensed something very bad in it, and I realized that it was an attack against Gianna. It's useful to remember that powerful spiritual battle rages against these genuine seers. Their life is certainly not easy and they have to get used to gossiping, slandering aso. It seems to me that Gianna is now absolutely in peace and helps others in a beautiful way. She stepped aside and it was quite right then, but perhaps our Lady of Emmitsburg now raises her up in the spotlight...

Notice his strong language: "Recent messages and activity by those who support Mrs. Talone-Sullivan have created confusion among many and division in our parishes and our Archdiocese. On more than one occasion, the Archdiocese of Baltimore has conducted investigations into these matters in an effort to protect the faith and good morals of the Christian faithful. Each investigation has concluded that there is nothing of significance to be found in the messages and locutions... I also strongly caution Mrs. Gianna Talone-Sullivan not to communicate in any manner whatsoever, written or spoken, electronic or printed, personally or through another in any church, public oratory, chapel or any other place or locale, public or private, within the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Baltimore any information of any type related to or containing messages or locutions allegedly received from the Virgin Mother of God...Further, I strongly caution those who participate in any activity surrounding these alleged apparitions or who seek to disseminate information and promote them here in the Archdiocese. To do so is a great disservice to the Church and creates further confusion and division among the faithful."
