But I would guess that after the first fall, if there were in fact 2, that God wouldn't make all future details privy to Satan.
I immediately thought of this also and regardless of whether he was given 75 years or 100 years and also regardless of when that timeframe began, I would guess that God would not give all future details to him.
And were there actually 2 or were they one and the same spoken about first in Genesis and then also in Revelation?

Satan is not in heaven. He is at middle plateau, the astral plane that has connexion with earth. He fallen from heaven. And he is in the time, but the time of angels that is different from human time. the passage of time for them is different.
the structure of creation is divided temporarily in: supernatural world, middle plateau and physical plane. supernatural: where is God and the obedient angels. physical plane: the universe we live middle plateau: a transitory plane where live the evil spirits. this intermediate plane has contact with both plans. from it the devil acts on earth because the middle plateau is kind of a reminiscence of the paradise we loose after the first sin of Adam and Eve. this is very complicated to understand. Do not look at these planes like one above the other. they are in another dimension. At the end of the world the middle plateau will not exist anymore (and earth too of course). There will be just heaven and hell.
I don't think satan knows the future but he is a master of prediction based on past events. (Very Simplified) None of us know for sure the sun is going to rise tomorrow but, based on the past, we can reasonably assume it will.
I am not sure how much satan knows about the future, occultists who read palms, tarot cards and the like can, I am told, be quite accurate. I have no idea where the info comes from, or if it's simply applied insight. However, it's clear that satan tried quite early on to kill Jesus through King Herod, who lied to the three magi about his intentions and asked for their help in locating him - the end result of which we refer to as the Massacre of the Innocents. I read somewhere that the flight into Egypt was a means of hiding Our Lord from the evil one as it seems Jesus and his family were safe from the devil until his ministry began. So God can prevent satan from knowing things.
I think he can predict the future but with no guarantee of accuracy. He knows Sacred Scripture but his pride makes him believe that he can change the ending so he keeps on trying to win souls from God. I reckon he can predict some events based on how much control he has over people who have not resisted his temptations but he can't always be accurate because he doesn't know when prayers for fallen away souls will have an effect. He can't control God and God answers our prayers through miracles or by an outpouring of grace that helps people reject Satan's influence. I don't know whether he can predict major disasters because I don't know how much power he has to cause something like, say, a damburst or a landslide.
Hello These are the conversations, I missed the most. Where else could we discuss such spiritual topics. So many happy faces...I'm happy. So, can "the created one" see the future. As others stated, yes and no. Does he understand Gods plan? NO But he does have some insight. He also communicates with God. Not directly but through intermediaries. There are Natural Rules that rule the universe. But sometimes "the created one" asks God for different supernatural actions to change the outcome of the future. And God allows or says NO. Sometimes, God also uses the supernatural to protect or change the outcome of future event. But not often because there are natural rules that govern the universe. But going back to topic. The "created one" is blinded to many things, so he can plan and almost understand the future...but he still cannot comprehend "All". Only Our Heavenly Father knows past, present and future. And who can perform miracles? Can Satan? Satan may show up where Mary and Jesus have appeared to confuse us. I read that some believe that this in fact has happened at some of the approved apparition sites.

One example was that he tried to appear as Our Blessed Lady , right at the grotto in fromt of a crowd of witnesses. But the figure in white kind of blanked out. He can't perform real miracles but he can do a good impression such as changing the colour of rosary beads. I'm not well up on alchemy but I suppose changing the appearance of material things would be in that category. Not real miracles but false wonder working. Doesn't the bible warn us of such things?

I read a similar account about Fatima, that demonic figures were seen there also. I think this why it is so difficult for us to discern about an apparition because he shows up to confuse us. So we get a mix of the good and the bad and once a little of the bad occurs most people want to rule on the negative side of the entire apparition. In addition, when miracles do occur many people will contribute them to something other than a true miracle.
I think the internet can makes things more difficult to in a way. It is so easy for people to copy true messages and alter them. On the other hand you can get access to direct first ahnd accounts and professional comment. So it can be swings and roundabouts.
