Blessings to everyone. I wish to share a bit about Luz de Maria, my experience and personal relationship with her. My name is Rebeca, and I live in California where at the age of 5 I met her spiritual guide, the holy priest Fr. Jose Maria at the Penny Club. For many years he helped the less fortunate and was a spiritual guide to many people. Many immigrants were helped by this priest through housing which he built giving them schooling and sustenance. Fr. Jose Maria was then moved to other countries where he met Luz de Maria. It was through him, we met Luz de Maria. We know and are witnesses of his supervision of her life for 24 years. Although his health has deteriorated due to his 85 years of age, he does not cease to be vigilant in the spiritual life of Luz de Maria. There are other Priests and three religious sisters who are also always vigilant in her life; one of the sisters is a Doctor in Theology and worked in the Vatican. They would not allow deceptions. We have invited Luz de Maria several times to give conferences in the United States. Priests and nuns of various parts of the world have attended. Luz de Maria has stayed with us in our home when she visits. In February of 2015, we had the blessing of the Bleeding of a Crucifix that is in the room where she stays. I remember that early morning the Crucifix began to bleed while the whole family was present. An unexplained scent forced us to turn to the Crucifix and that was when we realized that Christ on the cross and Luz de Maria were bleeding at the same time. Luz de Maria’s suffering becomes physical with wounds; she really lives what Christ suffered and what He continues to suffer for all humanity. Christ said that He was bleeding for all mankind… To date this crucifix emanates an unexplained scent. This is just one of the many blessings that my family and I have witnessed. I have videos and pictures of the miracles that have occurred many times being with Luz de María. I do not know why it is so easy to judge a person who travels to countries bringing the Word of God. She does not ask for any money, only airfare. She leaves her family to do what I think none of us who write here would do, sacrificing our families to bring God’s Word to all the places in the world. Then we go to receive Christ in Holy Communion after bearing false testimony and judging someone chosen by Christ who sacrifices while we sleep comfortably in our homes. Good hearing from you Rebeca. Do not be too hard on thsoe who do not at ce believe. At the Office for the Feast of St Thomas the Apsotle we sing, 'Felix culpa', 'happy fault' , in that because Thomas did not believe and had to put his hand into the side of Jesus to believe he was riesn and so helped confirm our faith. It is natural and very human that peole , like St Thomas adoubt and question. If people had not questioned then you would not have come to the forum to testify as to what was going on. As St Paul says in Romans, 'For those who love God all things work unto the good'. The fact that people like St Thaoms and others ask a lot of questions and reach faulty conclusions oftne does not mean that they are bad people, it just means they are people who ask a lot of questions and jump to worng conclusions. We've all done it, one way or another, on the road of life.
Thank you for sharing your experience and for the picture of the crucifix. It is really special to see this. I find Luz de Maria's messages very moving and thought provoking. Its scary to think how far all of us have drifted from the Lord and the Illumination is going to be such a shocking and painful event for the majority of us. I am going to Medjugorje later this month and I feel it will be my last visit as economy and world events are escalating all the time. This will be my 14th visit which is a huge grace for me but I feel I have not really used the grace fully and wasted much. May God forgive me. I never object to people offering testimony of their experiences, messages and beliefs. I have been to Medjugorje; I myself have witnessed a Eucharistic miracle (bleeding host) which the local bishop took control over and which has not been publicized. (I don't answer questions on this because it is under the bishop's control). There are certainly miracles and messages in our world. Luz may very well be all that Rebecca R. says. However, My concern is that some take up a case of a particular message or apparition and insist others pay attention to it right now, and if they do not they are ignoring God Himself, bringing down His wrath on themselves and the world, and are committing great sin. God offers. God offers us messages, messengers, miracles. (Unfortunately, Satan does too.) But advocates too often demand. Since the Church itself does not require us to believe any private revelation, these demands go beyond God's will, which is expressed in the Church's rules and teaching. I've already gone several rounds on this issue with Daniel. All I am saying is that no one should feel they must offer reparation for those who question any private revelation.
And, just like what was offered to Thomas the Doubter, a manifestation of God Himself permitted through one of His prophets, in order to hopefully also give what was said to Thomas after he was satisfied personally....be no longer unbelieving but believing. Or...simply "fear not". Jesus must be very tired after all those hoops He's had to jump through for our sakes! Thomas shouldn't be an example for us via his doubting only but through what a profound change of spirit takes place once we "can" believe and relinquish the hardship not understanding with certainty.
