For those who think things may be bad now just remember, it can always be worse.

Excellent homily on a time when the Pope dug up a dead Pope and put the dead Pope on trial. Yes, this really happened, and may help put the current troubles in the proper context:

Someone gave me a great tip on reading the Exhortation to read and study the footnotes most. I think this is a brilliant idea so I thought I would pass this on.

Wow!! Stunning Peter. She must have found out my little secret. You can't keep anything quiet round here.

'The times predicted by Me in the past have arrived. Be strong. Do not retreat. Seek strength in the words of My Jesus and the Eucharist. You will yet see horrors on earth, but those who remain faithful to the True Magisterium of the Church will be saved/safe. Onward.'

    Padraig,

I will bite my tongue for two weeks. Let's hope I don't bite someone after the two weeks.;)

    Safe on the Father's Lap.

It should be pointed out that through this message Our Lady is not referring to the papacy of Francis, obviously... This is a message for those who think that hell doesn't exist, or that it is not necessary to confess sins, or that the Eucharistic is only a symbol, yet declaring their belonging to the Catholic Church.
I wanted to be clear on this, before someone comes and say "you see, even Our Lady of Anguera disapproves the choices of Francis".
Or, if you prefer, read the message 2489 transmitted on 27/02/2005: She is stating the same thing reported in the recent message, adding that everyone have to follow the teachings of the Pope (and Francis is the Pope, actually).

Well Padraig was it a mandate from heaven to remain silent for two weeks...a week seems like a fair amount of time.

Thank you, miker. Beautiful and calming. Today both my husband and I have felt such an agitation, unsettled confusion, and lack of peace in our very souls. The holy rosary and Mass brought peace for a time but the sadness and confusion returned.

Jesus, we trust in you! Mary, Comforter of the Afflicted, pray for us!

I was that way too yesterday in a bad way. I went to confession and mass and the priest was excellent. I was talking about my spiritual blahness of late and he could really feel it during my confession. I confessed about missing mass on Divine Mercy Sunday as I had talked about in another thread and told him of my confusion on the whole ordeal. I told him about how ritual prayer of rosary, scripture and other devotionals have become so hard. He felt that there could be a definite link between my spiritual feelings of late coupled with missing such a wonderful day in Divine Mercy Sunday. My penance was beautiful. He wanted me to spend 10 minutes in silence with the Blessed Mother. Begin with a Hail Mary and end it with a Glory Be but during that whole time take all this to her and ask her how she can help me to bear what Christ wants for me in this life. After confession, mass had started so I was going to spend my time with her immediately after mass. I moved to a spot before a beautiful statue of Mary and began. At or near the end of my time with her, a business man in a suit like myself knelt in the pew in front of me, pulled out his rosary and began to pray. In my heart I truly felt the Blessed Mother tell me to join him. I did not hear anything but just knew it. So I did in silence and left the church. I have been in a better state of spiritual joy since. The sacraments can and will definitely help us but don't forget to turn to Our wonderful Mother. She never seems to fail us does she!?!
