That must be a local thing. We still have water in our fonts during Lent. In fact, it's possible for you to arrange your own holy water blessing.

When I lived in Houston I would attend Holy Thursday Mass at St. Vincent de Paul. It was truly a beautiful ceremony. It would end with the benediction and the priests and altar servers would travel with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament under a canopy around the inside of the church very slowly. Then after they put the Blessed Sacrament away Mass was immediately over and they would start stripping the church in silence. It was a somber quiet abandonment because you just leave with no music or celebration. It would truly prepare one for the reality of that quiet and sad Good Friday. I miss that reverence. God Bless!

Thank you Kathy, I need that blind trust. I still have to grow in this... when you are surrounded by family it is much easier, but I am not. But, of course, I have my Guardian Angel, always near by. I read that our Angel will be next to us in Heaven for eternity.... So once I asked my angel: "ok, you will always be next to me, but what if I would like to be some time alone in Heaven with my friend (who died) ?" He did not answer, but I hope he did not mind asking me that.

Sulema said that the Divine Justice (the Warning) will come after this Holy Year of Mercy. I believe in Garabandal, and I think that the warning is very near but the situation in the world and especially in the Church will get much worse before that, which could happen very fast. It’s not a matter of time but of process instead. I don’t think that divination of dates is the right approach to the Garabandal message, because if Our Lady wanted us to know the dates, She would tell us that straight away. What’s more important now is to defend the TRUTH which is under heavy strikes. This is the moment when we choose sides, the everlasting and objective TRUTH or the fake pleasing truth. This is not about Popes (we have 2 actually), they have to choose sides as well. May God guide them in the tempting hour. The public message of Garabandal is very short, important though. The rest of it is private revelations and speculation. We have already received every God’s sign that we needed, during the past 2000 years, to know where the TRUTH is and the right way to follow. Hello Mac, good see you this morning. Nobody needs to believe in Garabandal to be saved, at least now. The Catholic Church has all the resources that we need. Like every apparition which hasn’t been fully approved by the Church, must be treated with some caution. However, some catholics believe that Garabandal’s apparitions are satanic, I don’t think so. But the people that truly believe on the satanic nature of Garabandal – without admitting it – are those who don’t believe that de doctrine of the Church is unchangeable and they are expecting the revelation of anew Truth in the warning of Garabandal. Or maybe some kind of fireworks and a little tonic on our souls reminding us that we forgot to help an old lady crossing the road… If Garabandal ever came with a different Truth from the one we received before, should be completely rejected, with or without miracles.

Garabandal confirms the Teaching of the Church, if this was not the case, I'll be one of the first to denounce it as satanic myself, in no way our Lady of Mount Carmel with Saint Michael in Garabandal should be viewed as evil or whatever, of course no one is forced to believe so for those there is no need to be at the Pines as well. I don't see it a "divination of dates" because I'm not tied to any one date. Every time someone proposes some date or another, they need to have it rooted in facts not feelings. Every time I hear of some new date being proposed, I find myself researching my Catholic faith just a little more. For example, what is the feast date of "a little-known Martyr of the Eucharist"? Well, you'd think that somewhere in the Vatican would be master index of Saints and Martyrs. And there very well may be. But when the Vatican Library is 400 years behind in its cataloging, then such a list is probably out-of-date. So we have a variety of patrons with their histories probably not available in English. The introduction of the Internet has made compilation of such information much easier, but not foolproof. Then you have different ways of defining dates. Bl. Imelda Lambertini is called "A Martyr of the Eucharist". She was 11 when she died. She died when after years of intense prayer to be permitted to receive the Eucharist, while praying alone in the chapel on the eve of the Ascension, a host appeared above her head, floating. The priest placed a patan underneath the host, it fell on the paten, and the priest gave Imelda her First Communion. She was so filled with joy that she died. For this reason Bl. Imelda is considered a Martyr of the Eucharist and is the patroness of First Communicants. I believe she is a strong candidate for the feast day noted by one of the seers at Garabandal. There's just one problem: there's no consensus on when she died. The problem is that she died after sundown. Nowadays the new day begins at midnight; but in the 1300s when she died sundown usually marked the end of one day and the beginning of a new. We know she died around 9PM local time. So do you list her feast day as May 12 or May 13? Americans and most Canadians have her feast day as May 13; however, some European sources list the date as May 12. Very difficult when you're trying to reconcile what is the date referred to in a prophecy. Unless, of course, it's a totally different Martyr of the Eucharist. I'm a history geek, so I don't mind doing the digging. But it's why I'm not pinning anything on any one date.

He will now show you your soul in all the ways that you are hurting your God from all the sins of the flesh such as abortion, living together as man and man, and woman and woman, and man and woman who are not married. Most of My Father’s children have forgotten the Ten Commandments. Your world has dropped about all of them except less than ten percent of My children. This special blessing is about to be given by My Father and yours so you can repent and ask forgiveness from your heart so you can be in Heaven some day with all of the happiness, love, and joy that He intended for all of His beloved children. This message is very serious and critical for your souls so they are not in the burning fires of hell for all eternity and are in the loving embrace of Heaven for all eternity.
