Evil Empire or Russia Consecrated?

First, a question - are conditional prophecy & private revelation the same? I am thinking that Our Lady's prophecy does not exactly fall into either category, yet I may be wrong and welcome direction on this.

I too, often wonder if I am on another planet, almost wishing that were true! Given the likely outcome of the Synod, Russia's latest moves in the Middle East, and basically the entire mess we are living in, has anyone given any thought to the possibility of Our Lady actually coming with a new message as Rich67 mentioned? Or, if our collective prayers, novenas, etc., might cause a change to come about, allowing us to live & worship throughout The Year of Mercy? Possibly a major, positive change, could begin in how we, as Catholics and Christians, live and worship our Lord and of course Our Lady. Am I being quite naive to pray for this to happen?

 

When you say 'Russia' I take it you mean their government dictatorship (Putin) and not its people. Its leadership will not change on its own, but it will come after the global nuclear holocausts (see http://alamongordo.com/prophecies_of_Alois_Irlmaier.htm as one reference to this). Its people will then rise up and rid itself of all the communistic principles and leaders it has held for 100 years. Currently, Putin is still running under the deceit and smoke screen it has been under for the past 100 years. Much of the Orthodox leadership there is in bed with Putin and Putin is playing them. This veil will come off after the global war and not before (IMO).

 

We have been told by Our Lady that prayer does and will alter (soften) the chastisements, but it will not eliminate it. Many believe it has already delayed what was to take place before the turn of the millennium. The greatest act of God's mercy (since the cross) will be his Warning. This will be man's last change at God's mercy and after that will come the conditional chastisements based on man's response. Regardless of what takes place, we know God will be with us and has a plan for us and desires that we enter into the new earth and era of peace. We have been given the weapon (rosary) and armor (brown scapular) to keep us on the right path and as St. Pio said, pray, trust and don't worry.

 

Conditional prophecy is any prophecy in which there is a prediction that something may happen, but won't necessarily if certain conditions are met. Fatima is a conditional prophecy. Our Lady's words:

"If My requests are heeded, Russia will be converted and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions against the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated."

There are conditional prophecies in the bible as well, such as when Jonah went to Ninevah and told them to repent or the city will be destroyed. They put on sackcloth, repented and the city was spared.

Public revelation is binding on all Christians, but private revelation is binding only on those who receive it. The Catholic Church teaches that public revelation was completed, and therefore was concluded, with the death of the last apostle (Vatican II, Dei Verbum 4), but private revelation has continued.

Some argue that Fatima falls somewhere between those two. It is obviously not just meant for Sr. Lucia and the miracle was the greatest of any since the resurrection. All of the Popes since it has happened have recognized it in a special way and Pope Francis even dedicated his pontificate to it.

Which nation needs to be consecrated?

 

Which country, not to long ago, shot down a civilian jet liner going over Crimea? Killing innocent lives flying over any country is an enemy to God. One can go back and forth on this argument. It is easy to pick a side and then find evil on the other. There is no government leaders left to find favor with in my opinion, so lets not play this moral relativism game.

Are you referring to MH17 which was shot down over Ukraine? All the evidence suggests that Kiev was responsible. The Dutch so-called investigation was a sham investigation.

Fatima is an excellent case study. We see conditional and non-conditional elements at work. For example, when Our Lady stated that on October 13th a miracle would be given to confirm the veracity of the apparition, this was a non-conditional statement: if it had not occurred then Fatima would have been exposed as false. The conditional elements are present in the messages. Every genuine private revelation has these elements at work: those that cannot change and serve to prove the veracity of the apparition and those that are subject to our free will and the free play of God's Mercy.

 

"Moral relativism" is not about comparing the degrees of evil of various singular acts. Indeed, the very notion of degrees of gravity of evil necessitates the existence of an absolute. Moral relativism per se is to imply that any particular situation has to be taken on its own merits without referring to an absolute, and any moral decision can be taken by reference to
the self-constructed conscience or even the "feelings" of the agent involved.
It is assuredly not moral relativism to compare the recent actions of the Russian state with that of the Obama regime, whether one is comparing the attitudes of both to abortion (admittedly a terrible curse in Russia, but at least Putin is trying to reduce it, whatever his motives), to homosexuality and other perversions or to the plight of Christians in Syria. It is to totally misunderstand the concept of moral relativism to believe that it is embodied in comparing the relative morality of two contrasting regimes, because in this comparison the only relating is with the Absolute. This is so no less than it is moral relativism to assert that a venial sin is less grave in relation to a mortal one.

In saying this I am not trying to canonise Putin. But would one condemn Mussolini in the same terms as Hitler? One must be careful not to underestimate the audacious evil of Obama. Putin is merely a run of the mill ruthless autocrat, hardly a novelty.

In the case of MH17 the Russian Government and the Russian Press from day one have tried to muddy the waters surrounding the downing of this Airplane because they knew they had made a Major Blunder by Murdering these 283 people. Their line from the start has been that MH17 was shot down by a Ukrainian Mig Fighter using an Air to Air Guided Missile, now the Dutch have disproved this and have proved that Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 crashed after being hit by a Russian-made Buk missile over eastern Ukraine. I don't know what evidence you have to the contrary but whatever you have lets hear it and what proof you have to back it up or is this just something you picked up on RT. As to not being EVIL i think the families of the RUSSIAN PEOPLE who he has MURDERED might disagree with you.

The question I always ask myself because there is so much corruption in the west (which is where I live and can speak of ie. the news media, both political parties,etc ) is who benefits from the action. It is quite clear that Putin is enemy #1 of the elites, even before Trump,Carson. I also know the masons believe in never "letting a disaster" go unused. Therefore I ask myself if it is possible the Ukranians/west shot the missile for any reason.

I think we both agree it was a buk missile that blew up the plane. And everyone knows the buk missile is Russian made. Can you therefore conclude the Russians shot down the plane? Why? Cui bono? What benefit s did they gain if they did? None as far as I can tell. It gave Obama/west a good reason for aligning up against Putin didn't it? It fit right into what Obama/west were trying to do, that sure was lucky. It seems that the only people who benefited were the geo-political goals of the now satanic western powers. Yes, the now satanic powers of the west, that is cui bono.
